Hi, I am Aashita Chadha, founder of 'The KariGhars' - an Interior Designing firm in Bangalore. I was a part of the Hafele Australia tour organized by Veena World. We travel a lot as a family but I had never traveled in a big group like this before, and never ever with a tour guide. I met Hitesh at the Mumbai airport for the first time and frankly, did not even understand the need for a tour guide at that time. Hitesh came across as a very humble, soft-spoken and helpful person at the first meet. Only when the tour progressed, I started to realize his importance and also the responsibilities of a tour guide. Hitesh is one of the most patient people I have ever come across in my life. He was on top of the whole trip, always kept us updated about the itinerary, made sure he gave us enough calls to help us get ready on time, but never ever lost his cool even when people were always doing their own things and not adhering to the time. He was always prepared with everything we could ever need, and it was fun to listen to his stories and all the information he used to share about the places etc. His experience and deep knowledge not only about the places, but also about travel and life in general used to shine through in every situation and communication. I really got to learn so much from him and loved spending every minute that I got to spend with him. Thank you for everything Hitesh ji. You have been one of the most important factors in making this trip memorable for me. The arrangements and bookings made by Veena World were great. We loved all the properties we stayed at. The local transport by bus was also great. The itinerary plan was also really good, keeping everyone in mind. The only thing I think could be better was the food bookings and plan. This was a much younger group of travellers and if we would have been provided more options for exploring the local cuisine other than Indian food all the time, it would have been great. Maybe next time you could check for personal preferences from the individuals and then plan the meals. This is a suggestion I would like to make to make the trip and planning foolproof from the next time.
