By Rail: If you want to travel via train, the nearest railway station will be Jammu Tawi which is located 375km away. Other stations that are also accessible are Srinagar and Udhampur. To reach Sonmarg from the railway station, you can take a private bus or taxi.  

By Road: Sonmarg is also very accessible via road. From Srinagar, it is a short drive of 87kms which you can travel by car or bus.
