It is a museum, research centre and publication house, which was established to represent the heritage and culture of the diverse Indigenous tribes and communities across the Northeastern states. At the Don Bosco Museum, you will find a wide variety of tribal artefacts, including agricultural equipment, clothing, jewellery, musical instruments, hunting and gathering tools, as well as sculptures and paintings. A visit to this museum would allow you to gain a better understanding of the lifestyle, practices, customs, and traditions of the indigenous communities in Meghalaya.

Elephant Falls: Named after a stone resembling an elephant at its foot, this is one of the most popular falls in the North-East. The local Khasi people call it the 'Ka Kshaid Lai Pateng Khohsiew', which means 'The Three Step Waterfalls', as the gorgeous Elephant comprises of three beautiful falls in succession.
