Gopinath Temple:

The Gopinath Temple in Ningthoukhong was commissioned in 1905 by the Maharaja of Manipur and is one of the largest and most revered temples in the state.

How To Reach Manipur

There are multiple ways to reach Manipur: -

By Flight: If you want to fly to Manipur, then you would have to book a domestic flight to Imphal Tulihal Airport, which lies about 8 km away from the city centre. It has regular flights that connect to several Indian cities, including Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, and Hyderabad.

By Train: As of now, there are no direct railway lines that run to and within Manipur. However, you may reach Imphal by taking a train either to Guwahati or Dimapur. The Dimapur Railway Station is located approximately 200 km away from Imphal. After reaching this station, you may take a bus or taxi to reach Imphal. The journey will take about 7 to 8 hours.

By Road: Several state-operated transportation services, including those managed by the Nagaland and Manipur Bus Corporations, provide connectivity to nearby towns such as Aizawl, Dimapur, Itanagar, Kohima, Shillong, and Agartala.
