These gopurams are adorned with intricate sculptures and carvings that depict a variety of mythological tales and characters. Meenakshi Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Meenakshi. Meenakshi is considered to be an avatar of Goddess Parvati, Lord Shiva’s bride. Within the Temple complex, you will find a sacred pool with a golden lotus, a hall that has a thousand pillars, as well as several small shrines.
Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal

The galleries of the museum display letters written to and by Mahatma Gandhi, as well as historical stamps of the British. Here you can even find letters sent to the infamous dictator Adolf Hitler. A part of the Gandhi Memorial Museum contains 124 rare photographs of Gandhiji's personal life, right from his childhood.
Kutladampatti Falls

The temple enjoys an exceptional architectural finesse. You will find 124 pillars and columns at Puthu Mandapam that are intricately carved with Hindu scriptures. These carvings include scenes from the wedding of the Lord and the Goddess, as well as Nayaka dynasty rulers. The mandapam is approximately 330-ft. high and stands on a pedestal.
