How To Reach Gangtok
By Air
Gangtok is well-connected to major Indian cities via air. The nearest airport is Bagdogra Airport in West Bengal, located about 124 kilometres from Gangtok. By Train
Jalpaiguri is the closest railway station to Gangtok about 148 kilometres away. This station is well connected to major cities like Kolkata and New Delhi. From New Jalpaiguri, you can hire a taxi or cab to reach Gangtok, which will take around 4-5 hours.
By Road
Gangtok is also accessible by road and is well connected to other nearby cities and towns. Though some parts of the road may not be in perfect condition, most of the route is fairly smooth.
