2. Ice Palace

You must have heard the phrase, “the more transient a thing is, the better it looks”. The Ice Palace completely justifies this phrase. In the centre of Jungfraujoch, the mountain guides created rooms and halls that are not a part of this palace. The building process of this palace started in the 1930s by the guides and they used saws and picks to create these. This place is probably one of the best places to visit in Switzerland for honeymoon couples as it is unique and stunning in equal measure.

Once you enter the palace, you walk on ice through the ice tunnel under a thick glacier with a beautiful effigy on both sides. Impressive, isn’t it? Also, you can never be certain about the line-up that’s showcased inside the palace as they keep changing the exposition. Why should adults have all the fun? The Snow Fun Park of Jungfraujoch is opened between May and October and is a real treat especially for youngsters and little ones thanks to the activities you can do here. For the remainder of the year, Jungfraujoch becomes a skiing destination for the rest of the year. Due to the height at which Jungfraujoch is situated, the months between October and May witness a heavy snowfall making it difficult for the park to open.
