First Impressions – The JW Marriott Hotel is a 634-room property that looks jaw-dropping gorgeous from outside, near Marina Bay in the South Beach area.

JW Marriott Hotel at South Beach boasts 10 different rooms inside a unique glass and steel architectural building. A dedicated work area in each room and control buttons by the bed with a USB port add to the convenience.

This hotel in Singapore is equipped with 2 swimming pools, 2 dining areas, an executive lounge section, a fitness center, and a bar, the glass-walled hotel offers postcard-perfect views of iconic landmarks like War Memorial Park, the National Gallery Singapore from each corner.

Verdict – A classic yet modern offering from JW Marriott hotel is worth every penny. When the rooms start only at S$300*, it can be easily the most economically-priced luxurious setting in entire Singapore. Tip: Make sure to book a room at higher levels!

Hilton Hotel Singapore

First Impressions – Hilton Hotel is a gigantic building. With 423 rooms, including suites, spread across 8 categories, starting from 32 square meters to 164 square meters of Presidential Suite, the award-winning Hilton Hotel is located at the heart of Orchard road.

A fantastic rooftop swimming pool opens from 7 AM to 8 PM daily, alas, besides the fine dining restaurant, il Cielo, which might not be a good idea for some due to gawking eyes. A closed Executive lounge with bespoke carpeting and winding space is a perfect setup for evening cocktails. However, due to covid restrictions, reservation is required currently as the lounge is subject to 42 pax at the moment.

Verdict – A solid 5-star hotel to spend a couple of days amidst white-gloved hospitality and all things luxe. Choosing a refurbished room will be a wise move or simply go for a Suite if the occasion is too special and you won’t regret it. An added plus is a mere 5 Km distance to the iconic Gardens By The Bay Singapore.

Hyatt Hotels

Andaz Singapore

Under the Hyatt group of hotels worldwide comes Andaz Hotels. 17 hotels across the globe, to be precise, Andaz Singapore is a stylish hotel that is attracting the tech-savvy and young discerning clientele.

First Impressions – A unique architecture that is set up on one of the two duo skyscrapers located in Bugis, with entry from Bugis MRT. The lobby interiors are stunning to say the least!

A beautiful armchair rests by the door-to-ceiling window pane overlooking the bay area, a round coffee table nearby, free non-alcoholic drinks and generous canned juices in the minibar, a Nespresso machine, and a marvellous Bose portable Bluetooth speakers are a few of the offerings in one of the Deluxe category room at Andaz.

A photogenic Sunroom at Andaz is their answer to a club lounge where drinks and coffee flow between 5 – 7 PM daily.

Verdict – If you prefer style, modernity, and luxury, a perfect escape is around the corner at 5 Fraser Street in Singapore at Andaz. Just go for it, starting at S$ 270*.

Grand Hyatt Singapore

First Impression – Grand Hyatt, one of the most famous hotels in Singapore, is located on the shoppers’ haven, Orchard road. The property gives a distinct Zen feel. The hotel impresses with a quiet, spacious, and cleverly-made lobby.

Most rooms and Suites already come with separate living areas and workstations, that add to utmost convenience. Minimalist amber lightning inside beautifully tones the blend of marble and wood furnishing. A bespoke bathroom adds to the ‘grand’ affair with generous toiletries and a large bathtub.

Complimentary access to the Grand Club lounge for all the refreshments, including hard drinks, is another add-on to the hotel’s chain of iconic restaurants like Pete’s Place, 10 Scotts, Mezza9, Straits Kitchen, and Oasis restaurant.

Verdict: It will indeed be the grandest affair at Hyatt, a clear winner in terms of impeccable hospitality. A wellness-themed staycation is added to the excitement. This one, with aesthetically beautiful romantic settings, is the best choice for couples and is a must-include while looking for Singapore honeymoon packages.

Fairmont Hotel, Singapore

First Impressions: Located on top of Raffles City Shopping Centre allows complimentary parking! A breezy touch-less check-in and a mere scan of provided QR code give access to collect the room key from the lobby. Impressive, as we adapt to the new normal!

From the two towers of North & South, only North is currently operational, allowing rooms with either city or pool view with a partial look of Marina Bay Sands. King room offers a 45 square meter area while Signature Suite is spread on 56 square meters, sufficiently spacious. A marble bathroom, alas, without a bathtub, is large enough with a curtain to diverge the toilet. You can find a generous supply of toiletries.

The complimentary breakfast is arranged with a reservation at Prego, in addition to the provision of serving it inside the room. A sufficiently large pool with a gym on level 8 of the property closes at 7 PM daily.

Verdict – At S$305*, this could be a steal deal, especially if you are expecting an extended family staycation as a second room is at 50% off in addition to free parking and S$ 150 worth of dining credits!

Orchard Rendevous Hotel, Singapore

First Impressions: Located at the most-convenient Orchard road, it is one of the best budget hotels in Singapore.

A 30 square meter-sized Club room comes with a balcony and a minibar, alas without snacks. Spacious family rooms with dorm and ample facilities for kids is notable selling points of this property.

A club lounge with ample spacing is a wonderful place for afternoon tea/coffee alongside the latest reading material, something rare at major hotels. The property has a couple of eating joints by the outsiders as they don't have an in-house food outlet.

Verdict – If you’re looking at a more affordable option with a family, Orchard Rendeveous will be the best deal at a throwaway price starting at S$ 230* for 2 nights!

Whether you’re looking for great views, hospitality, scrumptious food, or simply an escape in a true sense, book your stay at one of these hotels listed above and be spoilt in the world of luxury.
