Reykjavik (1 Night)
‘Mumbai to Mumbai Tour’ guests will report at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai as per the scheduled flight departure time and proceed to Reykjavik – located on the coast of Iceland, is the capital and largest city of Iceland. Upon arrival, Veena World Tour Manager will guide all guests for airport formalities and proceed to the city. Joining and Leaving tour guests will join the group on their own at the designated place or hotel.
Note: As per the Schengen visa rule, we need to process your Schengen visa from the consulate of the country we’ll be entering first on our Europe tour or staying in for the maximum number of days. 'Joining & Leaving' guests will also have to get their visas processed from the consulate of the same country; otherwise, boarding might be denied by the airline, or even entry into that country can be banned.

Ísafjördur
Today we arrive at Ísafjördur - a town in the Westfjords region of northwest Iceland. Known for its dramatic landscapes. Upon arrival we discover the time-honoured local methods of salting fishing. Go back in time as we enter the turf-and-stone fishing shacks, greeted by a local dressed in a traditional sheepskin fisherman's outfit. Further we visit the Maritime Museum, housed in some of Iceland's oldest buildings, to delve into the history of the fishing industry that has sustained the area for centuries.

Ittoqqortoormiut
In the southeastern part of Greenland, the city of Ittoqqortoormiut appears, on the territory of which only 500 people live. Ittoqqortoormiut was founded in 1925 by the Danish explorer Einar Mikkelsen and a group of about 80 Inuit, covering a vast hunting ground. There is still hunting and sea fishing. The territory of Ittoqqortoormiit is home to white foxes, bears and seal colonies. Here we discover the local museum and church, offering a glimpse into Greenland's heritage, with a demonstration showcasing muskox Qiviut. Further See the sled dogs being fed and immerse yourself in a demonstration of Traditional Greenlandic Handicraft, along with insights into the traditional East Greenland National suit.

Scoresbysund
Today we continue sailing towards Scoresbysund - the vast Scoresbysund fjord network is framed by imposing basalt mountains. Serving as a barrier against Arctic winds, the mountains create a haven for Greenland's wildlife, including muskoxen, Arctic foxes and mountain hares. The area teems with birdlife like little auks, Atlantic puffins, fulmars, snowy owls, Greenlandic gyrfalcons and great black-backed gulls.

Today we continue sailing towards King Oscar Fjord- a fjord in East Greenland, marking the northern border of the Scoresby Land Peninsula. Seyðisfjörður
Wake to an exciting morning and get ready to explore Seyðisfjörður- a town in the Eastern Region of Iceland at the innermost point of the fjord of the same name. Here we enjoy the guided tour of Skálanes nature reserve where we see the nesting seabirds, like the large colony of Eiders and Arctic Terns, as well as stunning cliffs reaching up to 640 m later we explore the landscape that still holds remnants of farms and turf structures that demonstrate the relationship of humans and nature since the settlement of Iceland. Further we stop to an archaeological dig site, called Thorarinsstaðir, to see the stave church and graveyard discovered by a team in 1998

Djupivogur

Heimaey
Today we explore an Icelandic island- Heimaey, ten million Atlantic puffins make Heimaey, a 13-km square island in the Westman Islands off southern Iceland, the largest puffin colony in the world. Despite a population of 4,000 people. Here we visit a birdwatching house in Stórhöfði, providing a wonderful opportunity to see the largest puffin colony. Further we drive between two incredible volcanoes, the 5,000-year-old volcano Helgafell (Holy Mountain) and the considerably younger volcano Eldfell (Fire Mountain). Brace yourself for the untamed power of nature with a stop at the windiest place on Earth, where the average wind speed reaches 11 m/s.

During your air travel, refreshments and meals are provided as per the airline policy. However, we rec-ommend you carry dry snacks of your choice for the flight journey.
Transport: For transfers and sightseeing, we use mini coaches, big coaches, or small vans, depending on the respective tour group size. If you wish to have a separate vehicle solely for yourself or your family, it can be arranged at an additional cost, subject to availability.

Meals: On tour, we provide all meals, from day one to the last day, as mentioned in the itinerary. Break-fasts are generally continental on European tours, whereas, lunches and dinners are Indian OR Indian along with a local dish OR local cuisine, OR at times fast food meals from Subway, McDonald’s, etc., de-pending on the convenience and ease of execution of the itinerary or the availability of food at the respec-tive destination.

Every month Veena World Visa Facilitation Team of 80+ members assist thousands of our guests for visa documentation, visa application and submission to VAC/VFS/ consulate, collection of passports from the VAC/VFS/ consulate on guest s behalf when applicable. However, all guests should be aware of the fact that issuance or granting of visa to any guest is at the sole discretion of respective country s consulates/embassy.
