A decommissioned minesweeper INS Cuddalore will be remodelled into a sea museum with the help of the Indian Navy working in collaboration with the National Centre of Coastal Research under the Government of India. It will be deployed 7 km away from the coastline and 26 m deep inside the sea. The surface of the deployed ship will be a breeding ground for algae and fungi that will attract marine animals, further providing a beautiful sight for the visitors.
