Baratang Island in Andaman is well connected via Port Blair. It is located at a distance of 100 km from Port Blair. You can travel via road to reach Nilambar Jetty to get a ferry ride to Baratang Island. It takes approximately 2.5 hours to reach the Nilambar Jetty from Port Blair. You can take a bus to get there.

Driving

Baratang Island has excellent connectivity via road. So, driving is another option. You will cross the dense Jarawa Reserve Forrest to reach your destination. Make sure to carry some food on your road trip as there are not many food joints on the way.

The best time to visit Andaman is between December to April. These months are pretty busy on the island. The hotels and restaurants are booked.
