I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a tour with Veena World, and I can't express enough how incredible the entire experience was. From the well-thought-out itinerary to the seamless transportation, everything was top-notch, making it an unforgettable journey. First and foremost, the itinerary was a masterpiece. Every important place was covered, and what amazed me the most was that it was not at all tiring. Perfectly optimized for time, it allowed us to make the most of our trip without feeling rushed. Speaking of transportation, the comfortable Innova cars and skilled drivers made the journey smooth, even on not-so-good roads. A significant contributor to the success of the tour was our tour manager, Itesh Singadia. His wealth of knowledge about the places we visited, along with the history and geography, added depth to the journey. Itesh's calm demeanor added a soothing touch to the entire experience. He received good support from, Swapnil Garge, who was equally knowledgeable and calm. The accommodation was nothing short of spectacular. The hotels selected were the best at their respective locations. Hotel Pinewood in Shillong, with its historical relevance, made our stay there truly special. Now, let's talk about the food. It was not just good; it was a culinary delight. While the hotel food might have been repetitive, the unique, authentic, and local dishes we tried during lunches compensated for it. The gastronomic journey added a flavourful dimension to the overall experience. And of course, the tour wouldn't have been as memorable without those favorite moments. The Bihu dance at Kaziranga's Hotel, the lively dance and DJ on the Brahmaputra Cruise, and the engaging group games at the Shillong Hotel created unforgettable memories. These moments not only added entertainment but also fostered team bonding among the group members. In conclusion, Veena World has truly mastered the art of creating a seamless, enjoyable, and culturally rich travel experience. Itinerary (Day Wise)
Guwahati – Kaziranga (2 Nights)
Tour Guests will arrive at Guwahati Airport as per their Scheduled flight. Upon arrival they will meet Veena World tour manager at the airport and proceed to Kaziranga – where wildlife roams fearlessly and enjoy a beautiful rendezvous with nature. En route we visit Maha Mrityunjai Temple – renowned as the World's Tallest Shivling at about 126 feet high. Upon arrival, we have free time for relaxing.

Kaziranga
Today we experience a thrilling jeep safari at Kaziranga National Park for wildlife viewing. We will come face to face with one horned rhino’s, elephants, deer’s and rare migratory birds. Later we visit Orchid Park – an orchid house with over 600 species from Northeast India, bamboo and medicinal herb gardens, a cactus house and a handicrafts museum. In the evening we enjoy the spectacular Bihu dance – an indigenous folk dance of Assam.

Kaziranga – Shillong (3 Nights)
Today we proceed to Shillong – The capital of Meghalaya. En route we enjoy the view of beautiful Umiam Lake.

Shillong – Mawlynnong – Shillong
Today we explore Mawlynnong village which has been awarded as the ‘Cleanest Village in Asia’. We visit the Balancing Rock and the Living Root Bridge – Centuries old bridges grown from tangled roots. Later we proceed to see the crystal clear waters of Dawki river and enjoy boating on the river. Dawki lies at the border of India and Bangladesh and is famous for a suspension bridge over Umngot River (commonly known as Dawki bridge) constructed by British in 1932. We also visit India - Bangladesh border at Tamabil. In the evening, we have free time for relaxing and exploring the surroundings.

Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong
Today we visit Cathedral of Mary, Elephant Falls and Ram Krishna Mission. Later we proceed to Cherrapunjee – officially known as Sohra. It is the wettest place on earth. We also visit Mawsmai Caves, Seven Sisters Falls, and Nohkalikai Fall – the tallest plunge waterfall in India. In the evening, we have free time to enjoy shopping in local market.

Shillong – Guwahati (2 Nights)
Today we proceed to Guwahati. Upon arrival, we have free time to relax and explore the surroundings.

Guwahati
Today we visit the Kamakhya Temple – one of the 51 Shakti Peethas in the country and enjoy a ride in the longest river ropeway over the Brahmaputra. Get a panoramic view of Umananda Temple, Peacock Island, the Brahmaputra River and the surrounding hills. Later we sail over the River Cruise in Brahmaputra.

Guwahati – Departure

See you all!! Tour Guests will proceed to Guwahati airport as per their schedule flight and start their return journey back home.

Now coach travel is permitted for tourism, so we will use a coach for transfers and sightseeing. Guests who wish to travel by a small vehicle may do so by paying an additional cost.

- As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday.
- Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
- It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
- A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
- Though Veena World provides all three meals, that is breakfast, lunch, dinner and Veena World treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys.
- If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
- For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones.
- Ensure that your clothing and footwear is suitable for the destination you are travelling to.
