Best Time to Visit Serengeti National Park

You can witness lots of wildlife in the Serengeti all year round. However, the dry months from June to October are the most popular and busiest times to visit. During this season, you are most likely to experience the wildebeest migration in full force with the huge herds making their incredible journey across the plains. If you want to see the wildebeest giving birth to their babies, the best time is between January and February. This is the calving season when thousands and thousands of wildebeest calves are born. Late November and December are also good months to catch the start of calving.
